Olena Malkina graduated from Zaporizhzhya University in 2009 with a master's degree in banking. In 2011, she worked in the Department of Labor and Wages at Iskra as an Engineer for rationing and organization of labor. During this time, she was responsible for creating job descriptions, staffing tables, scheduling employees, and organizing the structure of company workshops. After three and a half years in this position, she moved to a Senior Economist role, still within Iskra.  

There, she conducted an in-depth economic analysis of Iskra’s economic activity across its various divisions, calculated material, labor & financial costs, and used statistical analysis to forecast and interpret future resource usage. In 2020, while still working, Olena decided to return to school. She attended Zaporizhzhya National Technical University, where she earned a master's degree in applied mechanics.  

In July 2023, Olena moved to Minnesota, and later that year in September, she started her current position as an Assistant Administrator. She processes company and client transactions and payments, prepares, and sends out client invoices, and assists Rita with daily data entry.  

In her free time, Olena enjoys cooking and experimenting with new foods, traveling to new places, and spending time with her family.
